Capt. Keith Benson  is a "Florida Native" of the Tampa Bay/Tarpon Springs/Clearwater area!  Capt. Keith has been fishing SW Florida from Fort Myers to Tampa Bay for over 24yrs! He is an excellent sight fishing Capt who's specialty is Tarpon fishing Boca Grande to Tampa!  He is a very personable professional guide whom enjoys teaching & guiding his clients to an awesome day of "Catching"!                                  

Coverage Area:  West Central Florida, to include Tampa Bay, Clearwater, Dunedin, Honeymoon Island, Palm Harbor, Ozona, Tarpon Springs, Anclote Key, New Port Richey, Hudson and the near shore waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  Boca Grande during the months of May & June.

Species Targeted:  Capt. Keith can consistently target any species of game fish that patrol the inshore and near shore waters of the West Central Florida Coast, to include Giant Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Shark, Mackerel, Cobia, Kingfish, Permit, Snapper, Goliath Grouper (a.k.a., Jewfish) and Jack Crevalle.  His specialty however, is targeting Giant Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout and Jack Crevalle.

Methods:  Light Tackle Spin & Plug Tackle and Fly-fishing.  Artificial Lures & Live Bait.                                                                             

Near-shore / Offshore Charters:  In addition to flats & backcountry charters, Capt. Keith also runs charters in the Gulf of Mexico.  Fish the reefs, wrecks and open Gulf for Shark, Barracuda, Amberjack, Kingfish, Little Tunny, Permit, Cobia, Grouper and Snapper.  Unlike many offshore Guides who run "Offshore Only Boats";  if the Gulf is uncomfortably rough, Capt. Keith can salvage the day by targeting Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon and Jack Crevalle in protected waters.  One of the many advantages of running a "Bay" style boat.

Maximum Anglers:  Five depending on species targeted and methods.  Prefer three.
