Located a short drive south of Naples, the 10,000 Islands offers miles upon miles of mangrove shorelines, countless  coves and bays...quiet coastal rivers and back country lakes. Shallow water everywhere.

It's sight fishing from the foredeck of a quietly poled skiff while gliding in mere inches of water in pursuit of visible fish.  It's sleeping tarpon, tailing reds and lurking snook. For the dedicated shallow water angler, it's a unique opportunity to fish in one of nature's idyllic settings.  It is some of the most exciting light tackle and flats fishing there is, Everglades-style.

Coverage Area:  Naples, Marco and the 10,000 Islands/Everglades National Park, which include Tarpon Bay, Graveyard Creek, Harney River, Rogers River,  Broad Creek, Lostman's River,  Liquor Still Bay, Jungle Bay, Darwins Place, Onion Key, Mormon Key, New Turkey and Seminole Point.  Capt. Ned Small is an Everglades National Park approved Guide.

Methods:  Capt. Ned's specialty is targeting Giant Tarpon, Redfish and Snook on Fly-Gear.  Capt. Ned stays busy year round and is in high demand for Tarpon Fly-fishing charters from March through July, so be sure to book Capt. Ned well in advance if you wish to land your first, or trophy Tarpon on a fly rod.

Although Capt. Ned is a Master at Fly-fishing and an excellent teacher, he also provides for Spin & Plug Tackle fishing.  Artificial Lures & Bait.
