Capt. Ryan Rowan. was born in Georgia and moved with his family to Bradenton, FL when he was still a child. He grew up fishing the area waters from Tampa Bay to Charlotte Harbor. Ryan has since relocated to Charlotte County area for the last 11 years where he has continued his tarpon and backwater fishing. Captain Ryan has extensive knowledge in navigating and fishing all of the Charlotte Harbor area, with Boca Grande Pass as his specialty.
Participation in the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series each year is an awesome experience for Captain Ryan. This year Ryan was a member of Team Famous Craft boats. They consistently placed in the top 5, and took 1st place in week 4 of the tournament. They qualified in the top 25 for the Championship Round, and proceeded to place in the top 5 to advance to the Jim Beam Tarpon Cup where they placed in 4th. A great season placing 4th out of 62 professional teams in the 7 week tournament.
Coverage Area: Southwest Florida to include Englewood, Fort Myers, Estero, Pine Island, Sanibel, Captiva, Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande
Species Targeted: Capt. Ryan can consistently target any species of game fish that patrol the inshore and near shore waters of the Southwest Florida Coast, to include Giant Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Shark, Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper, Goliath Grouper (a.k.a., Jewfish) and Jack Crevalle.
