Capt. Tony Bozzella

Captain Tony Bozzella grew up on Long Island as a commercial fisherman. After completing 20 years as a Chief Bo'sun in the navy, the desire to fish was still burning on. Capt. Tony has fished the Florida waters for 24 years. In the mid 90's Tony received his 100 ton USCG License and started a lure Co. Tony hand makes the very lures that you fish with in the backcountry and through out many stores in Florida. Tony's passion for the sport of flats fishing is unmatched.

Tony fishes hard and entered many tournaments. His credits has 3 top 10 finishes on the Professional Redfish Tour, 1st place Mitzi Skiff Redfish Shootout Tour Champion, 1st & 2nd place Celebrity Redbone Tournament, 1st place Key Largo Backcountry Challenge & Top Guide Award just to name a few. He has been featured on ESPN, OLN, FOX Sport Network. Capt. Tony is a true seasoned professional, who is patient, knowledgeable and easy going.

Coverage Area:  Northeast Florida from Fernandina south to Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

Species Targeted:    While Captain Tony can consistently target any of the fish that patrol the waters of Jacksonville, Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, his specialty lies with Bull Redfish, Sea Trout, Flounder, Pompano, Jack Crevalle and Tarpon!

Methods:  Light Tackle Spin & Plug Tackle and Fly-fishing.  Artificial Lures & Live Bait.

Sight Seeing & Nature Tours:  Available for personalized sightseeing & nature tours. 

Maximum Anglers:  Three.  Maximum of two for fly-fishing, unless wading.

Boat:  Captain Tony runs a late model 18' Hewes Redfisher with a 150 Horse Power Yamaha.  The Hewes. is one of the largest  and driest flats boats on the water.  She is extremely stable at rest, and with her unique hull design, Capt. Tony can carry two to three anglers in extreme comfort through a Jacksonville chop.

Charter includes:  Rod, reels, fly gear, live, dead & artificial bait, tackle, fishing licenses, sodas & water, ice, fish cleaning & bagging and no fish no pay guarantee.  Our professional and friendly attitude is free of charge.
